The college football-loving segment of America continues to be enthralled by Terrelle Pryor, Ohio State's unbelievably talented dual-threat quarterback. That, of course, is because Pryor was widely considered the best 2008 recruit in the nation.

That said, there are other highly touted '08 recruits who deserve some notice. One of those is soon-to-be-Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones.

As impressive of an athlete as Pryor is, Jones, from Foley High School in Alabama, could be even more impressive. After all, he’s got everything you could possibly hope for in a wideout.

At 6-4, 215 pounds, Jones has NFL-type size already.

Second, Jones is fast. While he doesn't possess jaw-dropping speed, Jones can motor that big body of his fast enough to put together a 4.48 time in the 40.

Jones is also very strong for a wideout, evidenced by his 315-pound bench press and 505-pound squat.

Finally, Jones is known for his agility in the air and ability to jump (41-inch vertical leap). Start checking out elite prospects from any year and see how many have the explosiveness to jump that high. You’ll probably be searching a long time.

The best part about Jones, everything else aside, is his football ability. During his last three years in high school, Jones pulled in 194 passes for 3,000-plus yards and 40 touchdowns.

When you bring it all together, it's easy to see why Rivals considered Jones the fourth-best overall recruit in 2008, the top player coming out of Alabama, and the No. 1 overall receiver in the 2008 class.

Additionally, when you break it down, it’s hard to believe that Jones will make anything less than an extremely large impact in his first year at the collegiate level. He’s got every conceivable physical tool, and those in the know tend to rave about his hands, too. So, as you’re watching what Pryor brings to the Buckeyes in his first college season, don’t forget about Jones.

In all likelihood, he’s going to be a great one.
