Trent Richardson, a four-star running back from Pensacola, Fla., has verbally committed to play for the Alabama Crimson Tide next season.

Commentary: Richardson is considered the 28th-best overall prospect and third-best running back in the nation by Rivals. That said, his commitment is considered 'soft' right now.

In other words, he's not quite on the field for Alabama yet.
