Everyone keeps talking about Alabama 2008 recruit Julio Jones, and for good reason; after all, he's just a freakishly good athlete and wide receiver. But there’s this other guy whom the Tide picked up in 2008 who will likely play wide receiver, too. His name is Burton Scott, a five-star recruit.

Scott -- a 5-foot-11, 194-pounder who has 4.4 speed and a 39-inch vertical leap -- put up 1,070 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns as a junior in high school. He also amassed 1,000 yards rushing as a senior (15 touchdowns). As impressive as those numbers are, they don't tell the whole story: Scott also threw for 1,000-plus yards and seven touchdowns as a junior to go along with 1,200 yards and 10 scores as a senior.

In the end, Scott was considered the 28th-best overall recruit in the 2008 class, the third-best athlete, the second-best Alabama recruit (next to Jones), and the athlete with the second-best ball skills.

Pretty impressive, isn’t it?

Quite simply, no other team is bringing in the kind of receiving talent that Alabama is this season. In fact, it really isn’t even close.
