Generally speaking, the lull between spring football and the return to practice can only be filled with one thing: recruiting. Thus, let's take a look at some of the 2010 prospects who have already verbally committed to play for the Auburn Tigers.

Shon Coleman: The 6-foot-7, 275-pound three-star offensive tackle from Olive Branch, Miss., is considered Rivals' 27th-best offensive tackle prospect in the nation. However, his commitment to the Tigers is viewed as soft. In other words, he could fly the coup to another team, including SEC rivals Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee or Alabama.

Jake Holland: This 6-1, 228-pound three-star inside linebacker from Pelham, Ala., runs the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds. What's more, he reportedly bench presses 345 pounds, making him both strong and rather quick for an inside backer. Last season in 11 games, Holland added 129 total tackles (14 for a loss) and two interceptions. With such strong statistics, guess is that Holland may prove a good deal better than his three-star status indicates.

Shaun Kitchens: The Georgia native (6-3, 211) has 4.65 speed and a 35-inch vertical leap. The reason why the Rivals has him listed as an athlete is because he's shown the ability to do more than one thing. Evidence: Last season, Kitchens amassed 57 rushing yards and two touchdowns, 229 passing yards and three TDs, and 16 catches for 289 yards and two more scores. Simply put, Kitchens has serious potential.

Cody Parkey: Parkey is a sought-after kicker from Jupiter, Fla. That won't make a lot of headlines, but kickers sure are important with a couple of minutes to go in a close game, aren't they?
