Everyone in college football's Southeastern Conference is aware of Auburn Tigers defensive end Antonio Coleman, a pass-rushing machine who could finish as one of the best in school history. Over the past two seasons combined, Coleman has racked up 84 total tackles and 14.5 sacks. He only needs 11.5 sacks to tie the Auburn career record.

And we haven't even seen this guy play every day.

Of course, if the Tigers' foes had to concern themselves with just Coleman, things might be a bit more manageable. However, on the other side of the defensive line is Michael Goggans. On one hand, Goggans only has 36 tackles and one sack to his credit during the two seasons he's played for Auburn. Further, he accumulated only two tackles during Auburn's recent A-Day.

But perhaps more noteworthy was the fact that those two tackles happened behind the line of scrimmage. You see, Goggans was a highly touted tight end coming out of high school; as a result, he's had a learning curve to deal with at defensive end. Right now, it seems that curve is starting to spike.

The Tigers clearly have bookends with lots of athletic talent. If Coleman can stay injury free, watch out. And that will only mean more one-on-one blocking for Goggans, who ought to have a breakout season.

Goggans and Coleman could end up being a scary combination.
