Forte signs four-year deal with Chicago

Chicago signed its second-round pick, RB Matt Forte, to a four-year deal, the team announced Wednesday.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Forte is being looked at as the Bears' potential Week 1 starter in wake of the release of Cedric Benson earlier this offseason. The Bears now have 11 of their 12 picks signed, with only first-round tackle Chris Williams without a contract.
