The Chicago Bears signed offensive lineman Roberto Garza to a 1 year contract.

The free agent guard started 15 games for the Atlanta Falcons in 2004. In his 4 year professional career, he has started 31 of 52 contests for the Falcons.

The 6'2", 296 lbs. product of Texas A&M-Kingsville can also play center. The 26 year old native of the Rio Grande Valley figures to be a backup at first for the Bears.
