The Chicago Bears re-signed offensive lineman Steve Edwards to a 1 year tender offer.

At 6'5", 330 lbs., Edwards started 8 of the 15 games he played in 2004.

The 26 year-old former University of Central Florida Knight can play both guard positions as well as the tackle spot. Edwards has started 24 of 32 games for the Bears since breaking into the NFL in 2002.
