The Chicago Bears re-signed offensive lineman Terrence Metcalf to a 1 year tender offer Monday and released injury-prone OL Rex Tucker.

The 6'3", 318 lbs. Metcalf started 5 out of the 13 games he participated in 2004. The University of Mississippi product has seen action at guard and tackle during his 3 year career, starting 7 of 33 games played.

The 6'5", 315 lbs. Tucker was able to start 5 of the 6 games he played in 2004. The ex-Texas A&M Aggie has started 27 of 35 games in 6 years. He has finished the past 3 seasons on injured reserve after a myriad of injuries derailed his ability to play at the guard position.
