Chicago Bears defensive tackle Terry "Tank" Johnson is facing felony weapons charges. Chicago area police booked Johnson after finding a loaded 9mm handgun in his car. Johnson was arrested early Saturday morning after a night club valet alerted police to presence of a weapon. Apparently, the valet told a police officer that he saw Tank Johnson move the gun from his lap to the center console of his SUV.

Thanks to the snitch like tactics of the valet, Johnson is facing a felony count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. The charge carries a maximum sentence of three years in prison.

Tank Johnson was the Bears' second round pick in 2004. He appeared in 8 games last year, recording 12 tackles and .5 sacks.
