Now that the dust has settled and we all have rehashed last week’s gut wrenching loss it is time to move on to the up coming game against the Bucs. Just like last week when there was a very very small minority of fans that thought the Bills where going to win it is just the opposite this week. The vast majority of us feel that the Bills can and will win this game. The fact that Tampa has never played a regular season game in Buffalo is proof enough that they won’t be able to handle the atmosphere of ‘The Ralph”. The 12th man will come heavily into play this week, 76, 000 screaming lunatics that have had an extra few hours to indulge in merry making and partying will create quite the ruckus. This definitely is a home field advantage game for two fairly evenly matched teams.

O-line—slight edge to the Bucs because they have played together. Bell will need some help on passing downs.

QB—maybe a slight edge to Lefty but only by the proverbial pubic hair. If Edwards takes command like last week he should be able to attack the weak Bucs safety tandem.

RB’s---even, Caddy had a good game against the D-line of the Cowboys that was having heat stroke. Fast Freddy Jackson is the better all around player and is a danger on pass routes---Caddy has hands of stone and gets pulled out in passing situations.
WR—Bills all the way, TO & Evans over catch a few drop a few Clayton and the egotistical Bryant.

TE---Bucs, Winslow over the 2 Derek’s and Lord Nelson (for now), whether lefty can get him the ball is another question.

DL—Bills, DT’s Stroud & Williams over Hovan & Sims and Schobel & Kelsay over the stiff Adams & Wilkerson. Bills line depth is better.

LB’s—even, Rudd for the Bucs is a player along the lines of Mitchell for the Bills, the Bucs other two LB’s Hayes and Black are 1st year starters. While the Bills have 3rd year Ellison (who is a better player than some give him credit for) and 1st time start Buggs.

DB’s—Bills, Safeties Scott & Whitner are better then turnstile Piscitelli & the brittle Phillips, CB’s McGee & McKelvin slight edge over Barber & Talib. Barber’s age is catching up fast and he is started off this year like last by getting toasted, Talib is a good up an coming player like Leodis.

Special teams---Bills, April will have the special teams fired up after last weeks uncharacteristic poor performance on KO coverage and of course the never to be forgotten fumble!! Bucs FG Nugent missed a couple last week but can kick deep and is familiar with kicking at the Ralph.

Coaching—Bills, Bucs have a 32 year old HC with no OC or DC experience when listening to him talk reminds me of ex Bill Head Coach Kay Stephenson. I’ll give advantage to Dick on experience alone.

Bills make us all feel good for a week as they walk off the field a 31 –20 winner!!!!
