Have you ever just not even known where to begin? Sometimes you actually have to start out...just like that, stating the incredulity of the situation by merely saying things like "I'm at a loss for words" or "Words cannot explain" or "Have you ever not known where to begin?". It's amazing really. It is so amazing that even the normal canned sayings won't work for you. You no longer even believe the old adage that you just have to pick up your boots and go back to work. You actually contemplate..is the only answer ...I have to quit? That's next folks. I have to quit. It's the answer of course, but that's the catch 22. What non-quitter is ever going to say that? What guy not good enough, is ever going to admit that? Good luck to that. Good luck.
I could start out with the old poker adage...it seems to fit. If you don't know who the sucker at the table is...it's probably you. It fits wonderfully for this team. I heard it from 4 different guys last night. "I don't know what the problem is". "The fans don't deserve this". "I don't want to comment on that". Of course you don't want to comment on that Russ. Why would you? You'd have to say this. I have no business calling myself a Cheif Operating Officer in the NFL. And Jauron, you can't say anything other than you need to get back to work, because Dick. you have no business being an NFL Coach. And Kiwaka? You are a role player. And Trent? You are a back up.
Look, let me make this perfectly clear. Jesus Christ himself, could come down, (or over depending upon your perspective), to coach this team and he would not get them 6 wins. If he played QB he might get them 6. But he'd also have to block for himself and run routes. And then..he'd have to return punts and kickoffs too, so he could get the ball back on occasion.
Everyone on this team is confused. And even the biggest of men, will look at themselves...but it's NOT THAT. The point is simple, these men have maximized themselves. They have so maximized themselves that now they are starting to make mistakes. They have worked to their capability and now they are working beyond it and they are making mistakes. They are in areas which hard work is NOT the answer. They are in way way way over their heads. Ralph...the man just doesn't know. Russ, clueless. Modrak, Guy...over there heads. The players..they don't have it. It's that simple. It's not a matter of not working hard enough. It's a matter of not being capable.
I am getting so sick of the arguments about the players wanting to play for Jauron. I have no doubt they do. The point is,.....they do...and they still suck. That's on the fools that assembled this team. They aren't good enough.
I gave blood the other day. I'm a very nice fellow, aside from the lunatical diatribes I make. I am very very nice. I have alot of character. I gave blood. Does that make me qualified to Run the Peace Corps? Does that make me qualified to save the world? I am literally dumbfounded as to how dumbfounded Ralph and the Ivy Leaguer himself, Jauron, could be dumbfounded. Half of me wants to believe them...the other half of me, doesn't trust them as far as I can throw them. They have to know they are the problem? Don't they? Doesn't everyone know the game is won and lost on the line of scrimmage? Doesn't everyone know our lines of scrimmage are really really really bad? Don't people understand that our Linebackers are really really really bad. I get it, I understand that we have injuries. I get it. But don't people understand there are areas on the football team where you have to have depth? What is so difficult about understanding that? What? Who is Jonathan Scott? WHo is he? Are you kidding me? Do you actually believe you can be a good team with Jonathan Scott and Demetrius Bell and Kirk Chambers as your tackles? Do you really believe Kiwalka Mitchell, Marcus Buggs, Keith Ellison and Paul Posluzny are NFL Playoff Linebackers? Do you actually really not understand that? Because if you don't then you are the sucker at the table.
