As much as we want the Bills to name a head coach ASAP, it is good to see they are doing their due diligence. Cowher should be the only coach that the Bills would sign immediately. Does anyone believe Cowher is truly interested in becoming the Bills next coach? Cowher is rolling the dice and hoping that the Carolina job becomes available this year or next. Even if the Bills throw $8+ million at him will his heart be in the job or is he just taking the job for the cash. I don’t know how many of you have dealt with contactors but when you put a job up for bid you get a good feel for which contractor wants the job or not. You’ll have the ones that want the work, are enthusiastic and put in a competitive bid. Then you have the ones that don’t really want the job but will put in a bid that is extraordinarily high figuring if they get their price fine if not they don’t care and move on. To me that is what Cowher is doing and with Shanahan & Carroll signing for $7 million per, Cowher coming to B-Lo will take at least $8 million per. Can anyone see Ralph spending that much plus what he owes Dick—nope—nada—no way—it ain’t going to happen.

The next head coach the Bills hire will be the most important head coach hiring in Bills history. Buddy and company have to get this decision right, there is no time left for the team to be floundering around for the next 3 years with the wrong choice. Whether it is Frazier, Shotty, Billick, Grimm or any of the rest mentioned he has to change the personality of the team from blah blah Vanilla---to a team that win or lose they are going to punch the opponents in the mouth an make the opposition earn every yard gained and make them stop the Bills offense with great defense. If the Bills play with that aggression the wins will come.

The fans have had 10 years of mediocrity and still support the team. With Ralph being up in years the time is now, Buffalo can not afford to let the fans interest wan. It is crucial with LA building a stadium, the Toronto scenario and other cities looking for a team that the Bills make the right choice!!! The NFL will have a harder decision on relocation if the Bills are winning and the fans are out in force showing their support. Hopefully by that time the only relocation associated with the Bills will be the NFL helping them get a new stadium in or near Buffalo!!!!
