Hard to figure what the Bills are up to…

With so many needs it is hard to figure out which way the Bills will go in the draft. Offensive Linemen as in plural—Check! Linebackers---Check!! QB---Check! Defensive Linemen—Check! Tight End---Check! Wide Receiver—Check!


The Bills need all of the above but what direction will they take? We only have 44 days 6 hours and 36 minutes to wait for their decision.


So far during Free Agency they have signed RT Green from the Raiders who are one of the worst teams in football---Ho Hum! The fans of Oakland were ecstatic to see him leave because of his tendency to give up sacks and take penalties. He did get accused of beating his girlfriend with a mop handle in 2009-----lovely. Then the Bills bring in Wade Smith another journeyman who has bounced around the league but he left town without a contract. Stop gap players at best who fit the mold of the past signings of Whittle and McKinney. They were also signed for depth but when needed in action promptly got injured.


We knew they weren’t going to go out and spend millions on a high profile player such as Peppers but to lay this low is puzzling with so many needs. I’m trying to figure out why they didn’t’ talk to OT’s Hicks or Pachos who recently signed with the Skins and Browns. The non-tender to OG Incognito has some scratching their heads including me, when you would think the Bills would bring him to camp to see what he could accomplish with a full training camp. Why didn’t they bring in LB Scott Fujita who can play inside or inside in a 3-4, he helped the Saints win the SB and just signed with the Browns.


There is still a lot of time before camp opens and so much can happen with trades, the draft and Free Agency but at this point we are left to wonder WTF is going on!!!


I will continue to have faith in what Nix and company are trying to accomplish but man I sure would like to see more action at One Bills Drive…..
