The bye came at a good time. 4-2, and only 6 points I think separating us from 6-0. Amazing start for the Bills. I can honestly say I did not think they could be 4-2 by the bye week. What do they need to fix in the next two weeks? The D-line. I don't think a 3-4 alignment is the right formation for the personnel we have. The Bills can't pressure a QB or stop the run very well, again. I'd like to see more 4-3 alignments to see if it helps. I hope Williams can heal but if it's bone spurs, he's gonna be limping all year. I think Merriman should sit now and a healthier LB get playing time. He can be a leader on the sideline because up until now his on-field play has not nearly lived up to expectations. The secondary - they are opportunistic but they seem to give up too much cushion, don't turn around to see a ball coming on deep throws, etc. Is it all coaching?? Spiller - I would love to see the Bills incorporate Spiller into a receiver role, like the Pats use Welker. Spiller is hard to cover, like Welker, and in the open field is as dangerous and as fast as anybody. The Bills can compete with any team in the NFL now, but they are missing some pieces, something is missing on both sides of the ball that can make this a legit playoff team. Up to now they have lived and died by turnovers - in the next two weeks I hope the coaches can figure out a way for the D to become a lot stronger up front and more consistent. The truth is, they may not have the overall talent on the roster yet to overcome the deficiences. Drafting Dareus was a great start, and Williams is a stud, but they need more help on the line. So, what positive changes do you hope to see the Bills make vs the 'Skins on October 30 in Toronto? This is a back-yard road game, and it's a must-win. Go Bills!
