Buffalo Bills are seeking a Gate Coordinator, which falls within the organization's Facility Operations/Security: Hospitality department.

The team is scouting for personable and proactive individuals in providing assistance to all guests with the highest level of customer service for the 2005 Season. Opportunities include the supervision and monitoring of the various entry gates at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Game Day. Main function of position is to coordinate the activities of CSC Security, APEX Security, Local 200 ticket takers, and Guest Service Ambassadors at respective gates.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Being certain that each fan is met with a warm smile and a friendly "May I be of help?" or "Good evening/afternoon".
- Receiving and acting on complaints from fans or referring them to a supervisor if unable to satisfy fan.
- Being certain that each fan is directed or accompanied, if possible, to the correct seat, at all times.
- Have a complete understanding of the Buffalo Bills policies and procedures for working at Ralph Wilson Stadium. You are accountable for your own actions.
- Try to anticipate guests' problems and never avoid or ignore problems.
- Documenting and reporting any incident (major or minor) on an Incident Report Card and submitting that report to your supervisor
- Handle all responsibility and questions regarding the handheld ticket counters
- Control gate keys including swing gate entry and all turnstiles
- Take ticket counts on all turnstiles and handheld ticket counters
- Release other team members to either their respective areas (Guest Service Ambassadors) on Game Day or for the day (ticket takers).


Requirements:

- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be able and committed to providing the highest levels of customer service.
- Must be flexible and willing to work weekends, evenings and holidays when required.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from Ralph Wilson Stadium
- Must be able to stand and move about throughout the entire facility for extended periods of time.
- Must be available to work over the course of the entire season. (10 games)
- Must be able to report 2 – 2 ½ hours before each game time, and must be able to work in inclement weather.
- Must be able to work between 5-6 hours on game day.

1. Interested candidates will need to obtain, complete, and return an employment application.

2. Qualified candidates will be contacted to attend a group interview/individual interview in Mid-May/Early June.

3. If selected, candidates will be required to attend mandatory training sessions.
