Former Miami Hurricanes wide receiver and special team's player, Roscoe Parrish left practice early after injuring his right hand during practice last night. At this point, it's been confirmed that the rookie second round Buffalo Bills prospect had X-rays taken to further diagnose the injury.

The injury came after Parrish braced himself for an awkward spill by landing on his right hand, after going deep for an overthrown pass by quarterback Kelly Holcomb. Those who were present have already stated that there didn't appear to be any collision between Parrish and covering cornerback Jabari Greer. They went on to say that Parrish got up immediately and walked off to the sideline holding the right hand in pain. The Buffalo Bills head trainer Bud Carpenter immediately examined him.

Despite his small frame (5-foot-10, 170-pound), Parrish's Mini-Camp performances were already earning him a chance to vie with returning veteran Josh Reed for the No. 3 receiving position behind Eric Moulds and Lee Evans.

Last season, Roscoe Parrish led the Miami Hurricanes with 43 catches for 693 yards. He also led the ACC with eight touchdown catches, and ended his college career with 81 catches for 1,285 yards and 11 touchdowns.
