The Broncos waived S Marviel Underwood on Thursday, the team announced.

Underwood, a fourth-year player out of San Diego State, missed the entire 2006 season because of multiple ligament tears in his knee suffered in the preseason. The Broncos released him to free up room to sign RB Michael Pittman.

Commentary: Underwood didn't play in 2007 with Denver or Green Bay, with which he was signed for a week in December.

Fantasy Impact: None
