ENGLEWOOD, CO - After playing last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Ian Gold signed with the Denver Broncos. He spent the first four seasons of his career with the Broncos. In 2004, Gold played all 16 games for Tampa Bay, making 13 starts. He was 3rd on the team in tackles with 120 and had 1 interception.

Originally a 2nd round pick out of Michigan in 2000, Gold was Denver's top special teams player and a Pro Bowl selection in 2001. The following season, he became a starter and recorded a career-high 166 tackles and 6.5 sacks.

The Broncos also re-signed guard Ben Hamilton. Entering his fifth season, the 6-4, 283-pound Hamilton has started all 48 regular-season games he has appeared in for Denver. Last season, he did not miss a snap and helped the Broncos set a franchise record for fewest sacks allowed in a season at 15.
