Cleveland Browns running back, Lee Suggs, who is in a three-way battle with Reuban Droughns and William Green for the Browns' starting running back position, is hurt again. For the second straight year, Suggs might finish training camp on the sideline with an injury. Last year, Lee Suggs had won the starting job but hurt his neck and missed the first three games of the regular season. He also missed another three games later that year after hurting his toe. He finished last season rushing for 744 yards in 10 games. In 2003, Suggs' rookie year, he sustained a shoulder injury and spent the first nine games on the injured list.

After planting his foot last week during a run, the third year player said his foot just gave out. Now Suggs will have to sit on the Browns' sidelines with a high ankle sprain. The Cleveland Browns are uncertain when the former Virginia Tech star will return. Doctor's have yet to give Lee Suggs a timetable for his return. That means that Suggs, who has already missed on exhibition game, will miss Friday's pre-season game at home versus the Carolina Panthers. With each practice and game that passes, Suggs' chances to be the starting back lessen. That leaves Reuban Droughns, a 1240 yard rusher last season for the Denver Broncos, and oft troubled William Green to battle it out for the starting position.
