The Browns cut CB Kenny Wright on Wednesday, six weeks after an incident in which Wright was charged with marijuana possession, evading arrest and unlawful restraint in Texas.

Police in Pearland, Texas, are accusing Wright of having 1.875 oz. of marijuana in his vehicle at the time of the arrest. Wright had three tackles and one quarterback pressure last season in Cleveland.

Commentary: With the Browns slated for five prime-time games in 2008, many expect another fine season from Cleveland. Wright wouldn't really have added to that, and his legal problems were only a black eye on an otherwise strong team.

Fantasy Impact: None
