Cleveland named Mike Keenan club president Thursday. Keenan will have control over non-football-related aspects of the franchise, and he'll answer to owner Randy Lerner.

General manager Phil Savage was given a contract extension earlier this offseason, and he will oversee the football aspects of the organization. Prior to joining the Browns, Keenan worked for the National Football League's Management Council for 10 years, administering labor operations and finance matters involving the collective bargaining agreement and salary cap, according to the team's Web site.

Commentary: Not a bad gig to get, considering the marketability of QBs Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn, TE Kellen Winslow, and WR Braylon Edwards. With the Browns looking to be in contention again for the AFC North crown, not to mention five prime-time games this season, they are going to get more national exposure than they've received since the franchise was reborn in 1999.
