With both teams a game under .500 on the season, Sunday's Chicago Bears vs. Cleveland Browns matchup is a biggie for two teams looking to reverse their poor seasons in 2004. Both have struggled at times and are looking for more consistent play this weekend, in the hopes that the consistency will continue in the weeks ahead.

The Chicago Bears blew out the Lions in week two to the tune of 38-6, but in games one and three - both losses - the Bears managed to score just seven points in each contest. Somehow, the team is tied for first with the Detroit Lions in the NFC North.

Cleveland (1-2) also struggled to score points in its most recent outing against the undefeated Colts though an improving Browns defense held Indianapolis to just 13 points. The Cleveland Browns' only victory came against the winless Packers, a 26-24 nail biter, leaving the Browns 2 1/2 games behind the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC North.

A dinged up Trent Dilfer took the bye-week off and appears ready to return to action this Sunday. Head Coach Romeo Crennel has to be pleased with his quarterback's play to date, especially his solid 95.1 rating.

The Browns knocked off the Bears in a low scoring affair during the two teams' final preseason game. Look for the same type of game on Sunday.
