CLEVELAND, Ohio - Trent Dilfer will apparently be playing in front of the "Dawg Pound" in 2005. The Cleveland Browns have reached an agreement with Seattle to acquire the veteran Dilfer from the Seahawks for a 2005 4th round draft pick. The trade is pursuant upon league approval and Dilfer's passing a physical.

An 11 year veteran, Dilfer spent the last 4 with the Seahawks after leading the Baltimore Ravens to the Super Bowl title following the 2000 season. In 2004, Dilfer appeared in 5 games, including 2 starts, while backing up Matt Hasselbeck.

Dilfer spent the first 6 seasons of his career with Tampa Bay before joining the Ravens for that one Super Bowl campaign.
