The Cleveland Browns' trade with the New York Jets was voided on Tuesday, when Browns running back Lee Suggs failed his physical for the New Yorkers.

Cleveland intended to deal Suggs for reserve cornerback Derrick Strait in a trade that would have helped both sides, but now it's not to be.

Suggs, a former fourth-round pick, could still end up with another team, depending on how the remainder of the summer works out. If he plays well, however, the Browns will likely keep him as a backup to Reuben Droughns, but William Green is the frontrunner for the No. 2 position.

The Jets, meanwhile, are left with concerns at the running back position. Starter Curtis Martin could retire, though head coach Eric Mangini has remained tight-lipped about the situation. In the event he does, New York's starter will either be Cedric Houston, Derrick Blaylock or Leon Washington.
