The Cleveland Browns acquired running back Reuben Droughns from the Denver Broncos for defensive end Ebenezer Ekuban and defensive tackle Michael Myers. In Cleveland, Droughns will compete with William Green and Lee Suggs, who combined to rush for 1,329 yards last season.

The Broncos converted Droughns to a feature back last year. He ended up becoming Denver's fifth different 1,000-yard rusher in the last 6 years. In 2004, Droughns ran for 1240 yards rushing on 275 carries (4.5 ypc) with 6 TDs in 15 games. He also caught 32 passes for 241 yards and 2 TDs.

The 5'11", 207 lbs. former University of Oregon runner began his career with the Detroit Lions in 2000. He left after the 2001 season and had been a Bronco since 2002. In 56 career games, Droughns has run for 1337 yards on 315 carries and 7 TDs; he's caught 50 balls for 402 yards and 6 TDs.
