Cleveland Browns player Kellen Winslow II was discharged from a Cleveland-area hospital. The second year tight end spent 9 days under observation after a motorcycle accident.

Winslow released a statement through his team stating, "I am determined more than ever to get back on the field with my coaches and teammates as soon as possible. I'm OK and excited to be going home. I would like to thank everyone in advance for respecting my privacy as I recover."

After undergoing 2 surgeries on his right leg following a horrific fracture suffered during the second week of the 2004 regular season, Winslow was expected to be ready for training camp this July.

The latest mishap left the former University of Miami Hurricane with a damaged right knee and unspecified internal injuries. He limped out of the medical facility on crutches wearing Browns gear.
