The Cleveland Browns announced on Saturday that they've signed two of their mid round draft picks, defensive back Antonio Perkins and defensive lineman Andrew Hoffman. Financial terms were not disclosed, but both contracts are have a length of four years.

Perkins was an honorable mention All-Big 12 selection out of Oklahoma as a defensive back. In his senior year with the Sooners, he accumulated 33 tackles to go along with 1 interception. Perkins also doubled as the team's punt returner, where he set a school record with 8 career touchdowns. The Browns selected him with their fourth round pick (103rd overall) and project him to contribute immediately at nickel back and on special teams.

The Cleveland Browns other signing, Hoffman, was the second of Cleveland's two sixth round selections. Cleveland acquired that pick (203rd overall) from Tampa Bay for QB Luke McCown. Al Groh considered Hoffman his best defensive player at Virginia, where he was a three year starter at nose tackle. Hoffman totaled 52 tackles (11 for loss) and 5 sacks in his senior campaign. He will be looked upon to provide some depth on the defensive line, where the Browns absorbed several key free agent losses.

The Cleveland Browns open training camp for rookies on July 24. Veterans will report five days later.
