The Cleveland Browns have taken care of the most consistent player they've had since the team was reborn in 1999. Place kicker Phil Dawson received a five year $7.1 million contract extension from the team. The Cleveland Browns included a $1.8 million signing bonus as part of the deal.

Phil Dawson has been kicking for the Browns since their inception in 99'. He has made 80% or more of his field goals in four of the past five seasons. Last year he was 24 of 29 on field goals and perfect on extra points.
