TAMPA, Florida - Joey Galloway re-signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Galloway finished with 33 catches for 416 yards and 5 touchdowns despite missing 6 games with a groin injury in his first season with the Bucs. He also led the Bucs with 20 punt returns for 142 yards and 1 TD.

Tampa Bay acquired Galloway from the Dallas Cowboys in March of last year in exchange for Keyshawn Johnson.

The Buccaneers were hoping to re-sign either Galloway or Joe Jurevicius this offseason, both of whom entered the free agent market. Galloway will now rejoin rookie sensation Michael Clayton, who enters his second season out of Louisiana State University (LSU).

Galloway is the fifth player to re-sign or restructure their deal with the Bucs this offseason, joining QB Brian Griese, FB Mike Alstott, DL Greg Spires and TE Dave Moore.
