The Tampa Bay Buccaneers acquired quarterback Luke McCown from the Cleveland Browns for a sixth-round draft choice. McCown is expected to compete for a backup job with the Bucs.

The 6'3", 212 lbs. QB appeared in 5 games (4 starts) in 2004. He finished his rookie season with 48 completions on 98 attempts, with 608 yards. McCown threw 4 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.

The Louisiana Tech product is the younger brother of Arizona Cardinals signal-caller Josh McCown.
