The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed cornerback Marcus Hamilton, a seventh-round pick from Virginia. Hamilton is the second draft choice to sign with the Bucs, joining fourth-rounder Tanard Jackson, a safety who signed on Friday.

Commentary: Hamilton is a bit on the small side at 5-foot-11 and 192 pounds. He finished his career at Virginia with 15 interceptions, which is tied with teammate Ronde Barber for the all-time school record.

Fantasy impact: The Buccaneers' defense has been one of the best in the league for several years. The unit is aging and Hamilton could be a nice late-round pickup for help in the secondary. He will be learning at the feet of one of the best in fellow UVA alum Barber. The overall impact should be slim to none, though, as Hamilton will probably see most of his action on special teams and spot duty in certain situations.
