TEMPE, AZ - The Arizona Cardinals re-signed defensive end Peppi Zellner and released quarterback Shaun King. Acquired along with RB Troy Hambrick from the Oakland Raiders on August 31, Zellner registered 35 tackles and 2 sacks while playing in all 16 games last season.

Zellner also has played with Dallas and Washington during his career, recording 117 tackles and 9 sacks.

King spent just 1 season with the Cardinals. In 3 games with 2 starts, the veteran QB went 47-84 for 502 yards, 1 TD and 4 INTs. He spent his first 5 seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
