The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to a four-year contract with second-round pick Taitusi Lutui, aka Deuce Lutui.

Lutui, 6-4, 338 lbs, was a two-year starter at Southern California and started in all 26 games he played in. In 2004, Lutui started all 13 games at right tackle during the Trojans' national championship season. Last year he was moved to left guard, his more natural position, and started all 13 games as well. He was a consensus 2005 All-American and was named USC's Offensive Lineman of the Year.

He is expected to compete for a starting spot on a rather suspect Arizona offensive line. The Tonga-born native of Mesa, AZ is a powerfully-built blocker that is deceptively athletic and possesses quick feet. The Cardinals' coaching staff believes he has the potential to become a Pro-Bowl player.

Lutui became the fourth of Arizona's seven 2006 draft picks to sign, joining OLB Brandon Johnson, DT Jon Lewis and WR Todd Watkins. The three remaining picks to be signed are: first-round pick, QB Matt Leinart; TE Leonard Pope, a third-rounder; and fourth-round pick, DT Gabe Watson.
