The Arizona Cardinals waived linebackers Ray Thompson and LeVar Woods.

Thompson started 3 of 11 games in 2004, recording 42 tackles and 1 sack. He started 54 of 65 games in his 5 years as a pro with the Cardinal, totaling 443 tackles and 6.5 sacks over that span.

The team also re-signed right guard Jeremy Bridges and cornerback Robert Tate to 1 year deals.
