The San Diego Chargers re-signed backup running back Jesse Chatman to a 1 year deal.

Chatman had 65 carries for 392 yards (6.0 ypc) and 3 TDs in 2004 behind starter LaDainian Tomlinson.

The 5'8", 247 lbs. product of Eastern Washington has 428 yards in 79 carries in 3 years as a pro with the Chargers.
