The San Diego Chargers re-signed defensive end DeQuincy Scott. The restricted free agent agreed to a 1 year deal.

The 6'1", 260 lbs. lineman played 14 games in 2004, registering 19 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 2 deflected passes in a backup role.

The Southern Mississippi product enters his 4 professional season with the Chargers. He has recorded 45 tackles, 10 sacks, 5 deflected passes, 1 forced fumble in 40 games.
