The San Diego Chargers have signed their fifth round draft pick, Wesley Britt. The offensive lineman was signed to a three year contract. He was the 164th overall pick in this year's NFL draft.

Wesley Britt played his collegiate football for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He was a four year starter. The Chargers hope to utilize the 6'8'' 314 pound behemoth at the tackle position.

Britt was having an All-American caliber season back in 2003, but suffered a broken leg in a game against SEC rival Tennessee. He had a lackluster senior campaign that hurt his draft status. If he can learn to control his gigantic frame he could end up being a legitimate NFL lineman.
