The Kansas City Chiefs have signed fifth-round pick Marcus Maxey and sixth-round picks, Tre Stallings and Jeff Webb, to three-year contracts. The trio are the initial signings for the Chiefs' draft class.

Maxey, a 6-0, 192 pound cornerback, played in 46 games, with 15 starts, for the Miami Hurricanes. He finished his career with 75 tackles, two interceptions, seven pass deflections and two fumble recoveries. Last year, Maxey took over Antrel Rolle's spot opposite Kelly Jennings, starting ahead of Devin Hester.

Stallings, 6-3, 315 lbs., had 48 consecutive starts on the offensive line for Mississippi. He is a versatile lineman that played both tackle positions for the Rebels, starting 29 games at left tackle and 19 at right tackle. However, many scouts agree that Stallings will probably make the move to guard in the NFL.

Webb, 6-2, 211 lbs., was a star receiver while at San Diego State, playing in 43 games with 29 starts. He caught 234 passes, second in Aztecs history, with 2,890 yards and 20 touchdowns.
