The Kansas City Chiefs signed veteran fullback Robert Holcombe to a 1 year deal. It is a reunion for Holcombe and head coach Dick Vermeil from their days with the St. Louis Rams.

The 5'11", 220 lbs. FB is a tenacious blocker and a capable threat out of the backfield. A product from the University of Illinois, Holcombe has played for the Rams (1998-2001) and the Titans (2002-2004). He has 337 carries for 1,141 yards and 11 TDs running. In addition, Robert has caught 69 passes for 573 yards and 3 TDs in 97 games over 7 seasons.
