The Kansas City Chiefs and safety Shaunard Harts agreed to a 1 year tender agreement. The backup defensive back enter his fifth NFL season with the team.

The 6'0", 210 lbs. Harts played all 16 games in 2004. He amassed 52 tackles, 1 deflected pass, and 1 forced fumble last year.

The Boise State product has played 51 contests for the Chiefs in 4 years, accumulating 166 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 interceptions, 5 passes defended, 5 forced fumbles, 2 opponent's fumble recoveries.
