The Kansas City Chiefs have taken yet another step towards shoring up their secondary by signing ageless cornerback Ashley Ambrose. Last year the Chiefs were ranked dead last in the NFL in passing defense. Adding Ambrose should help bolster a defensive backfield that allowed 32 passing touchdowns (2nd worse in the NFL).

At 34 years of age, Ashley Ambrose is a 13 year veteran who has played nearly 200 NFL games. He started only six games for the New Orleans Saints last year, yet in spite of the limited action, Ambrose still managed to intercept three passes and added six passes defensed.
