Lake View High (Lake View, S.C.) outside linebacker Quandon Christian gave his solid verbal to Clemson for the 2009 class.

Christian, a 6-foot-1, 205-pounder who runs a 4.51-second 40, racked up 82 tackles, nine sacks and two picks last season.

The ninth overall commitment and second linebacker for the class, Christian chose the Tigers over North Carolina, N.C. State and South Carolina. Dabo Swinney is credited as the primary.

COMMENTARY: Tommy Bowden’s Tigers are in serious need of playmaking linebackers, making this a solid pickup.
