Trailing instate foe Michigan State by 10 points midway through the fourth quarter, the University of Michigan Wolverines rallied to score two touchdowns and claim a key Big Ten victory in Lansing.

The win allowed Michigan to remain on track for another epic showdown with arch rival Ohio State in two weeks. Chad Henne found Mario Manningham open in the end zone from 31 yards out for the game winning score with 2:28 remaining. It was Henne's fourth touchdown pass of the game. Team inspirational leader Mike Hart returned to action after missing the previous two games and logged 110 yards on 15 carries.

Commentary: Michigan has won eight straight games after suffering two humiliating losses at home to 1-AA Appalachian State and Oregon to begin the season. Two more wins and they claim the Big Ten title and a BCS bowl berth. The road will not be easy, however, as the Wolverines must first travel to Madison this week to take on the Wisconsin Badgers.
