Tiger quarterback Cullen Harper went 27-of-35 for 266 yards and three touchdowns as Clemson whipped Atlantic Division nemesis Wake Forest, 44-10, in Clemson. Go-to receiver Aaron Kelly caught two of Harper's touchdown passes which cumulated in eleven for the season, which broke a school record set by Derrick Hamilton in 2003. Star running back C.J. Spiller ran a kickoff return 90 yards for a touchdown--his second kickoff return for a score in two weeks.

The Clemson defense looked particularly well as Jamie Cumbie, Ricky Sapp, Philip Merling and Kourtnei Brown sacked Demon Deacon quarterback Riley Skinner a combined five times, pressuring him countless other times and Tiger defensive back Chris Chancellor intercepting him once.

Commentary: Clemson made a statement today with its dominating win over Wake Forest that it is dead-serious about its quest for a berth in the ACC title game December 1. Next week Clemson hosts Boston College in Death Valley, and if the Tigers upset the Eagles they will go on to represent the Atlantic Division in the title game.
