After allowing the Bears to jump out on top late in the first quarter 7-0, the 5th-ranked Sooners put Baylor away Saturday afternoon, the final score 52-21 in Norman.

Quarterback Sam Bradford and running back DeMarco Murray were responsible for deconstruction of Baylor, as Bradford was 20-of-25 for 353 yards and three touchdowns and Murray got 95 yards off 13 touches and had three rushing scores of his own. Murray also returned a kickoff 91 yards for a score with less than a minute to go before halftime.

Commentary: It's beyond clear which team is the best in the Big XII South. Oklahoma is not only a sure-fire favorite for the conference title, but if the Sooners win out they will get strong consideration to play for the National title. The way things are shaping up we may see Oklahoma taking on Kansas for the Big XII championship, where Oklahoma will most likely be the favorite. However they will need help from the upcoming opponents of Oregon and LSU if they are to play for the BCS crown.
