The Florida Gators soundly defeated former head coach Steve Spurrier and his South Carolina Gamecocks by a score of 51-31 on Saturday.

Commentary: Florida quarterback Tim Tebow accounted for all five of Florida's touchdowns (five passing, two rushing) and 304 passing yards on the way to a clear victory for the Gators. What's more, Tebow also led the Gators in rushing on the day with 120 yards.

South Carolina quarterback Blake Mitchell completed 26-of-42 passes for 316 yards and a touchdown in the losing effort. The loss represented only the second time that a Steve Spurrier coached college team had ever lost four straight.
