Trailing 26-25 with 15 seconds on the clock, the Hawaii Warriors got a clutch 45-yard field goal from Dan Kelly to defeat the Nevada Wolf Pack and remain unbeaten in 2007.

Colt Brennan started the game for Hawaii, but was pulled after two plays in favor of back-up QB Tyler Graunke. Graunke was 33 for 46, 358 yards and 2 TDs on the night. Luke Lippincott paced the Wolf Pack attack with 140 yards and 1 TD on the ground off 25 carries.

Commentary: Nevada coach Chris Ault baffled the broadcast talent and the TV viewing audience by not taking a timeout when Nevada forced a fourth down field goal with 50 seconds remaining. Instead, he let the clock run down to 15 seconds and then called two consecutive timeouts to try and ice the Warrior kicker. Had Ault called a timeout at the 50-second mark, Nevada would have had approximately 40 seconds of clock time with one timeout to get back into position for their own field goal attempt.

Nevada was the third team Hawaii has struggled on the road against this year. The Warriors have won those three games (Louisiana Tech, San Jose State, Nevada) by a total of 10 points.
