Oklahoma cleared quarterback Sam Bradford for Saturday's game against Oklahoma State. Bradford sustained a concussion in the first quarter of last weekend's 34-27 loss to Texas Tech.

"Everything has checked out and barring any unforeseen circumstances Sam will play this week,'' Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops said Thursday.

The freshman is the top-rated passer in the nation, boasting a 70 percent completion rate, 2,520 yards and 28 touchdowns against only six interceptions so far this season.

Commentary: This is very good news for Oklahoma; with Bradford at the wheel, there's a good chance the Sooners will beat their in-state rival and go on to play for the conference championship on Dec. 1.
