In one of the best games of the college football season, the unranked Arkansas Razorbacks, in triple overtime, defeated the No. 1 LSU Tigers by a score of 50-48 on Thursday.

Commentary: Heisman Trophy candidate Darren McFadden rushed 31 times for 206 yards and three touchdowns and passed for another score as his Razorbacks destroyed LSU's hopes for a national championship. Arkansas' other two running backs, Felix Jones (90 yards rushing) and Peyton Hillis (88 yards rushing and four total touchdowns). also contributed in a large way to a win that seemed to make a statement for embattled head coach Houston Nutt.

Arkansas' Matteral Richardson intercepted LSU quarterback Matt Flynn's final attempt at a tie, ending the game. LSU running back Jacob Hester rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
